Merry Main Street is an annual event that runs from Small Business Saturday (the Saturday after Thanksgiving) through the Sunday prior to Christmas. This promotion is an incentive to shop local. EAch time you shop at a participating local shop, you earn a chance to win over $2000 of prizes from local shops!

Imagine winning over $2000 worth of prizes from Main Street shops & restaurants! Main Street Medford’s merriest businesses have joined forces in the fourth annual push to “keep the cheer here” this holiday shopping season! You’re thinking, what’s the catch? It’s nothing crazy. Just shop local! Every time you spend $20+ at any of our 27 participating businesses between November 27 & December 19th you’ll earn an entry ticket. You can earn one ticket in each business, per day! Having dinner or lunch downtown? All of our downtown eateries & breweries are participating in the fun! When you’re finished eating at one of our fine downtown establishments, show your receipt in any of our other participants businesses & exchange it for an entry ticket! The purpose of this promotion is to incentivize shopping in our wonderful downtown, which is in the midst of a beautiful revival. Something for the kids at Wonder World Toys, something for mom at Girlfriends on Main, some brewery swag for Dad or a gift certificate at Lower Forge Brewery or Kings Road, and lots of specialty shops like Antiques at 9 South Main, Her Majesties Boutique, Azonia, and the Medford Arts Center for those hard to shop for people on your list!
Love where you live & keep the cheer here! Your day shopping could earn you a ticket in each shop! The more tickets, the more chances you’ll have to increase your odds to win! There’s non physical items you could buy too if experiences are more your thing – music lessons at NJ School of Music, enrichment at the Math Accelerator, a world class cut & color at 2 Birds Hair Co, even an intuitive guidance experience at The Center, Life in Balance! The list goes on and on, we’ve surely left some out! Merry Main Street begins on Small Business Saturday, November 27th and runs every day of December through the 19th. Each participating shop has a “Merry Main Street Participant” sign on display out front so you’ll easily know who is participating or not!
Abbie Mylod-Galie, owner of Lower Forge Brewery, a co-organizer of this event & founder of Destination Medford, a local tourism initiative says: “I am thrilled at the growth of Merry Main Street! This is our fourth year working collectively and we’ve got 27 businesses and counting participating towards an amazing prize this year! Main Street is really becoming a family of businesses that work together, and it shows!”. Co-organizer, Alex Breaux of Wonder World Toys adds “our customers have been nothing short of wonderful and we want to pay it forward in a fun way!” And pay it forward, they shall! The lucky winner will walk away with $2000+ worth of prizes from participating shops!
Spend a minimum of $20 at a participating business and you could be the lucky winner! Merry Main Street runs the Saturday after Thanksgiving through the Sunday before Christmas, the winner will be announced via Facebook live – We always have a VIP pull the winning ticket will be pulling the winning ticket! It’s Tradition!
