Merry Main Street is an annual event that runs from Small Business Saturday (the Saturday after Thanksgiving) through the Sunday prior to Christmas. This promotion is an incentive to shop local. EAch time you shop at a participating local shop, you earn a chance to win over $2000 of prizes from local shops!

And yes—someone is walking away with over $1,800 in prizes this year!
Main Street’s most festive small businesses have teamed up once again for the 8th Annual Merry Main Street Giveaway, one of Medford’s favorite holiday traditions. It’s simple: you shop local, you get rewarded, and our downtown shines a little brighter because of it. “Supporting a small business isn’t just a purchase—it’s a vote for the community you want to live in. Amazon doesn’t show up for parades, sponsor school events, or light our Christmas tree.” says organizer & Main Street Merchants VP, Abbie Galie. 🛍️✨
Here’s How It Works
From November 30 through December 21, shop at any participating Main Street business. For every $20+ purchase, you’ll earn an entry ticket toward a massive prize pack worth $1,800+ (and still growing, there are always stragglers!)
It’s our way of saying thank you for choosing local during the busiest time of year.

✨ Ways to Earn Tickets
- Shop at any participating business (just look for the Merry Main Street sign).
- Dine at any downtown restaurant or brewery—then show that receipt at a participating shop for a ticket.
- You can earn one ticket per business per day, which means yes… shop around and rack them up!
💬 Why This Matters
“Every single ticket represents someone choosing to support a small business,” says organizer Abbie Galie. “When you shop local, you’re keeping our Main Street alive. You’re helping your neighbors, your friends, the places that give Medford its charm. It all adds up.”
And it really does add up—historically, Merry Main Street has driven, at minimum, $250,000 in local spending during the holiday season.
